ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Our LocationOwen Sound District Secondary School is located on the traditional territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, which is represented by the communities of Saugeen First Nation and Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation.

The Cafeteria

- Wolfy’s Diner, which offers lunch, as well as snacks at break. You can pay with cash or debit, or ask your parents to purchase a meal card using Cash Online.
- Food for Thought, which offers FREE breakfast and lunch each day in the front foyer, right outside the cafeteria.
OSDSS is a part of the Bluewater District School Board, which serves 16,800 students and their families across 8,673 square kilometres within Bruce and Grey Counties, on the traditional lands of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation. This is an area renowned for its exceptional natural beauty, including many walking and hiking trails, sandy beaches, meandering rivers, and welcoming communities.
The Bluewater District School board operates 9 secondary schools and 41 elementary schools, as well as a number of satellite sites, such as the Bluewater Outdoor Education Centre near Oliphant.
The nine secondary schools are located in Flesherton, Hanover, Kincardine, Lion's Head, Meaford, Owen Sound, Port Elgin, Walkerton, and Wiarton.
